Synopsis of presentation by Michael Jackson

We compete in a business world today where everything changes constantly, and whilst people tend to see change as some form of loss or difficulty, it needs instead to be understood as delivering gain and positivity, and acted on accordingly.

Presented in a strong, compelling manner “business as unusual” starts with how true leaders have realised how and why typical business routines and habits hold them back, and Michael reveals how to hit the sweet spot of achieving true purpose, culture and meaning from what people love doing, what they need to market, what they get paid for and what they are good at. This presentation presents the perfect business recipe ingredients required to prepare for appropriate innovation, enabling business people to perform with a better sense of direction, purpose and passion.

Resumé of Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson has over 30 years of strategic business, marketing and communications experience, having carved out an enviable reputation as one of the best business-to-business speakers and facilitators on the global professional speaking circuit having addressed over 2500 conferences across Africa, Asia, Europe, the USA and the Middle East; with his audiences ranging from factory workers to Heads of State.

Additional Presentations:

Robert Green, ASIC Design Services on “Accelerating deep learning applications on embedded systems”.

Artificial Intelligence is poised to make a tremendous impact on society. Advances in machine learning, robotics and IoT present new challenges ... and opportunities. In February, Midrand based ASIC Design Services launched its Core Deep Learning (CDL) technology at FPGA Symposium 2018 in Monterey and Embedded World in Nuremberg. CDL enables machine learning applications on embedded systems and processing "at the node". Moving intelligence to the node poses stringent challenges, especially relating to energy efficiency. The Deep Learning division of ASIC Design Services will present CDL and explain how it addresses these challenges. The presentation will include an overview of the framework and a live demonstration.

Donnee Kruger, TIKZN Gauteng Manager on “An update on the opportunities for the electronics industry in KwaZulu-Natal”
